Circus Fun!

Today we went to the Circus. It was a traveling circus that comes to Allen each year. This was our first time and I have to say it was fun. Will loved all of the animals. The first thing we did when we got there was ride the pony. Will loved it!

While we were riding the pony Will spotted the train and of course we road it next. Will loves trains and climed right up. Of course his buddy Maggie road with him too.

Waiting in line for the elephant ride.
Maggie, Ashley Will and Mommy on the elephant. Will liked it so much he wanted to do it again, there is always next year.

Waiting for the circus to start.

Will enjoyed the circus so much. He sat in our laps the whole time and watched everything. His favorite part was when the animals performed.

The dogs were cute!

The elephants were Will's favorite. I can't belive they can get these huge animals to do this!

The weather has been so pretty lately and of course it was colder today but that didn't stop us from having fun. We all enjoyed the circus and look forward to going again.

Spring Break 2011

On Saturday Justin and I flew to New Orleans for an anniversary trip with our good friends the Martins. Will wanted to come and started putting things into our suitcase. Unfortunately he couldn't come but I don't think he cared. He got to spend time with both Justin's family and my parents. I think he was spoiled just a little while we were gone. :)

We got to New Orleans early so we walked down to Jackson Square while we waited for our room to get ready. We looked inside St. Louis Cathedral and had a great lunch. After a little nap we went down to the restaurant in our hotel for a little happy hour and some oysters. Leo was a pro at shucking the oysters.

Then after a wonderful dinner we headed out to Bourbon Street. Even though we were there after Mardi Gras and before St. Patrick's Day the street was still busy.

The next morning we woke up and waled to St. Louis Cememtery Number One for a tour. This is Nicholas Cage's tomb where he will be burried one day.

Then we headed to Brennan's for breakfast with the Martin's who flew in this morning. Brunch was amazing and we even were photographed by a professional photographer from National Geographic Traveler. Look for us in the October edition!

After walking around town and another nap (I could get used to the nap thing) we headed to Pat O'Briens' for a famous Hurricane.

Monday morning we woke up and went to Cafe Du Monde for some yummy beignets. The line was long but worth it!

I know it looks like all we did was eat, and your right. We definatly ate and drank our way through New Orleans. This is lunch at Acme, another yummy meal and we even got there before the line was down the block!

Then we headed to the steam boat for a tour down the Mississippi and of the grounds where the battle of New Orleans took place.

Our last night we had dinner at NOLA, Emerils restaurant. After dinner as we walked back to our hotel we saw a crew filming a movie outside the Omni. Too bad we didn't see the cast because I would have loved to see Brad Pitt! We had a great time and its always nice to get away but we did miss our little man and were happy to get home to see him. Thank you to our families for taking such good care of him while were were away. We are very lucky!

Playing catch up on blogging - Having Fun!

Well we have been super busy lately, but we have been having lots of fun. One beautiful day in Feb. we went to McKinney Trade Days. Will enjoyed his ride in the stoller while his girlfriend Maggie rode in the wagon. Will ate a hamburger and a corn dog and we bought Aspen a new dog bowl.

After our trip to Trade Days and a little nap, Maggie Michael and Johnathan came over to jump.

After dinner and some playtime the kids watched Toy Story 3 in our bed.

Will loves the park and wants to go everyday. I think "park" is his favorite word.

Of course he thinks when he goes his buddy Maggie will be there and she is a lot of the time. It's nice to live so close to good friends and a great park!

I love this pic. He loves to slide.

He is proud of himself for getting up all by himself.

Will has also discovered eating the grapes from the vine. Lately
he has been sitting in the big part of the cart at the grocery store and if I have grapes he gets into them and starts eating them before I can get them home.

Yum!

Will loves Maggie!

Maggies loves Will too!!

Will showing his cheese face while he wears dada's hat and his Elmo slippers! What a cutie!

Uncle Greg's Birthday and a few other things.

We all went to Grandma and Papa's house to celebrate Uncle Greg's birthday. We had a fun and busy weekend. Too bad the weather was cold so we didn't spend too much time outside on Sat. Will did enjoy playing on Aunt Missy's i Pad. It's amazing how he already seems to know what to do on it.

Will got some bubbles in his Valentine basket from Grandma and Papa so we had to take them outside to give them a try. Will loves bubbles!

Then more play time on the ipad. He shared with his cousin Michael.

We had a wonderful dinner and then got to have Will's favorite thing. Cake! He helped Uncle Greg blow out the candles.

Make a wish!

Then it was time to get ready for bed. Don't forget story time! Grandma read a book to Will and Michael.

On Sunday we headed to the Gainsville Zoo. Look at the cute little giraffe!

Taking a look at he giraffe.

Feeding the animals.

Watching the flamingos. Will was saying drink. They kept putting thier heads in the water and each time he would say drink and point to his mouth. We had a great weekend spending time with family.
