Colorado

We got to spend Thursday through Sunday in Colorado visiting my best friend from high school. We have known eachother since 6th grade when her family moved in across the street from mine. We have been friends ever since. Even though she and her family live in Colorado we do get to see eachother every once in a while when she is in town visiting her parents. This time we got to spend lots more time together! What makes it even better is that she and her husband have a son, Connor, who is the same age as Will. They are 7 weeks apart and had so much fun together this weekend. At the airport on our way. We had an early flight so Will got to eat pancakes at the airport. He is excited about his first plane ride.

Will didn't have his own seat. He got to sit in mommy and daddy's laps since he is under 2. He did great on his first flight. He loved looking out the window, opening and sutting the shade on the window, coloring and looking at books. The flight was 2 hours and he was perfect! When we landed Erin and Connor were there to get us. We went to thier house and had lunch. Connor and Will took naps and then played until we went out to eat for Dada's birthday.
After dinner it was bath time. I think the boys had fun. Connor had never taken a bath with anyone before but I think he enjoyed it.

Since it was Justin's birthday Greg, Erin's husband, made him a yummy cake.
It was delicious! Thanks Greg.

On Friday we headed to the Zoo. Will was not cooperating for the picture but he loved looking at all the animals

The girls with their boys. Erin is pregnant with her second child. I can't wait to know what she is having.

Will and Connor trying to get in with the Elephants.

Will and Connor showing thier bellies. So silly!!

The zoo made Will sleepy.

This vacuum was Will's favorite toy. Everytime we came in the house he ran straight to it, and at times had a hard time sharing it with Connor. I guess I know what I am getting him for his birthday!

Since Will slept in the car on the way home from the zoo he wasn't tired for a nap so he played on Connor's cool swing set.

Sweet Boys!

The weather was perfect the whole time we were there. In fact it was pretty warm for this time of year in Colorado. On Sat. we went for a walk around the Dobkin's neighborhood. What a view! You don't see anything like this in McKinney.

During our walk we stopped by a park for Connor and Will to play.

Then we went to lunch and headed to the CSU football game. Greg got his undergrad. degree from there. Will had a great time watching the game. I am sad and embarassed to say that Will's first football game was not an OU one.

Even though we were at a CSU game Will and daddy still were supporting thier team in there OU shirts.

Yummy Pizza!

Sunday was our last day and it was also Halloween. The boys posed for a picture together in their Halloween shirts.

On our way to the airport. Can't wait until our next trip to see the Dobkin's.

Rangers Game and Tyler, Texas

We had a fun and busy weekend. On Friday night we headed to Fort Worth were I dropped off Will with his Mia and headed to the Rangers game with Justin and Jack and Jodi Price. We had a great time even though the Rangers lost. Thank goodness they won on Saturday. GO RANGERS!!

Introducing the Players

National Anthum

On Saturday we got in the car and made the trip to Tyler to visit the Kovash's. When we got there Whitney had bought Will a basket to put all of his Trick-Or-Treat candy in. Will thought it made a better hat. Silly boy!

Later that day we got to go to the Kovash's neighborhood Holloween Festival. We started off going on a hay ride to trick or treat around their neighborhood. Will didn't really know what to think about it at frist but he soon got the hang of it. Here he is inspecting his first piece of candy.

Riding the hay ride with daddy. You might notice he isn't really wearing a costume. Well, getting a 22 month old to cooperate isn't always the easiest thing to do. He was so excited about the cow costume he found at Target but not so excited about putting it on. So, he is wearing a skeleton shirt.

A family pic on the hay ride. Will was not looking at the camera becuase he is too busy sighning "more." He wanted more Smarties.

Getting the hang of trick or treating. His first lolly pop. At first all he wanted to do was hold it by the lolly pop and put the stick part up his nose but soon he tasted it and the rest is history.

I love this picture. You can really tell how much he is enjoying it.

Trick or treating with daddy.

After the hay ride they had a cook out. We ate and the boys ran around and played together. Will had so much fun.

There were donkeys that the boys tried to feed but the donkeys were too scared to come close and eat the carrots.

Will and Hudson checking out the donkeys.

State Fair of Texas

We had a great weekend. Beautiful weather for going to the Sate Fair.

Family pic in front of the ferris wheel.

Will's first fair ride. He really enjoyed it, next year he will be able to ride by himself. Especially because ONE ride cost $8.00 for the two of us.

Will's favorite animal is a cow. He likes to say Moo and does it every time he sees an animal that might even look like a cow. He enjoyed looking at this cow.
Will enjoyed feeding and petting lots of animals. Here he is feeding a goat who was really hungry, he had his head sticking way out of the pen.

Feeding a camel who wasn't hungry but Will tried anyway.

We also got to eat lots of good fair food. We had a Fletcher's corny dog, Tornado Potatoes and of course a funnel cake.

Before we headed to the fair we went to my principals house for her garage sale. Will found this slide that he had to have. He has been playing on it ever since we came home from the fair.

OU/tx weekend

Pictures from this weekend are in reverse order. We had a wonderful weekend. It started off with Justin going to the Rangers game with one of his good friends Wade and our God son Sterling. They had a great time and I got to hang out with one of my best friends Whitney and Hudson. Then Sat. was the big game. The daddys got to go to the game while the mommys and boys hung out. We went to the park, ate lunch, took naps and watched the BIG game. OU won witch made the weekend even better. Then off to the Lee's for a fun OU/ TX party. Then Sat. We went to the Arboretum. We could not have asked for better weather. Will had a great time running around, playing with hay and pumpkins!

Will thought it was lots of fun to thow the hay and put it in his hair. What a silly boy!

At the Lee's house for a OU party. This is the Lauren Margret who is the Lee's daughter. They could be brother and sister. Will had a great time jumping in thier bounce house and coloring.

Hanging out on Saturday with Hudson. They enjoyed playing legos together.
